Biographical note: Legislator; Morris King "Mo" Udall served as U.S. Representative from Arizona from May 1961 to May 1991. Born on June 15, 1922, in St. John's, Arizona, Mo Udall served in World War II, graduated from the University of Arizona and was elected to Congress in 1961 to fill the seat vacated by his brother, Stewart Udall who became Secretary of the Interior during the Kennedy Administration.
